Virtual Support Group for Neurodiverse Adults

Starts July 27, 2023,                                                                      Weekly on Thursdays at 2:00 PM

Neurodiverse adults will have the opportunity to meet others in their community through an online platform to connect, discuss common issues they share, and build on their individual skills and relationships through this therapy group. This group will be facilitated by a licensed clinical social worker. The goals of the group are to foster a place of acceptance and connection amongst peers, facilitate self-discovery, and encouragement to reach their individual goals through the support of their peers.

This support group will be led by Alanna Teitelbaum, LCSW. Alanna is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a master’s degree in Social Work from Tulane University. She is experienced working with individuals with developmental disabilities both in individual and group therapy. Alanna is dedicated to enhancing the lives of Neurodiverse individuals.

Aging Well Group for Women

Weekly on Tuesdays at 3:00 PM

Women over the age of 55 are invited to join a wonderful opportunity to connect, socialize, and engage with like-minded peers who share experiences related to the beauty of aging. This supportive gathering will address various topics, including physical well-being, building connections, expanding support networks, embracing life transitions, and more.

Leading this empowering support group is Amanda Werdann, LCSW, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with an impressive background. Amanda holds a master’s degree in Social Work and is currently pursuing her doctorate, demonstrating her dedication to helping others. Her expertise spans across life adjustments, fostering meaningful relationships, building self-confidence, and managing emotions constructively.

Together, we will create a warm and uplifting space where women can come together, uplift one another, and celebrate the joys of this stage in life.

Neurodiverse adults will have the opportunity to meet other peers, connect, and build on skills through training/workshops/role play/and group discussions. This group will foster acceptance and connection amongst peers and facilitate self-discovery and encouragement to reach their goals through self-expression of thoughts, feelings, and ideas.
